The Field School recognizes that the foremost privilege and responsibility of the education of children is with parents and guardians. As such, we seek to enter into a deliberative partnership with families to create a community of joyful learning and excellent education.
Parents as Partners
The Field School seeks to partner with families toward the goal of an excellent education for each child. To this end, we encourage families to be actively involved in the child’s life as a student. We recognize the value of communication and dialogue in this process and welcome any questions or concerns via email to office@thefieldschool.org or phone at (773) 309-8010.
Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures
Morning drop-off takes place from 8:15 to 8:30 a.m., and afternoon pick-up takes place from 3:15 to 3:30 p.m. Those picking up students must bring their card to confirm student pickup authorization.

Family Tree Organization (FTO)
The Family Tree Organization is an active parent organization designed to help families connect with one another through events and service opportunities in partnership with The Field School leadership.
The FTO sponsors various events throughout the school year, such as Field Day, Prayer Team (regular parent meetings to pray for the school community), the Christmas Concert reception, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

VolunteerExtended Care
The Field School recognizes the need for safe and structured child care before and after school for families who work beyond the school day hours. For this reason, we provide Before Care from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. and After Care from 3:30 to 5:55 p.m. This optional service is provided by The Field School for an additional fee.

Saturday School
In order to encourage family interaction and build community within the school, The Field School holds Saturday School two times per school year, typically late September and early March. All students and parents and guardians attend Saturday School together, participating in classroom activities and special classes for parents. Please check the school calendar for upcoming Saturday School dates and times.
