Giving to The Field School

Other than using our online giving form, gifts can also be made through mailed checks, donor-advised funds, and stocks or securities. For more information about other ways to give, please contact partnerships@thefieldschool.org.

Donor-Advised Funds 

The Field School is a registered 501(c)(3) organization (EIN #81-2218513) and able to accept donations from all Donor-Advised Funds through organizations including, but not limited to:

• Fidelity Charitable
• Schwab Charitable
• Vanguard Charitable

Publicly Traded Securities

Gifts of publicly traded securities can be given via The Field School's brokerage Vanguard (please contact partnerships@thefieldschool.org for account information). Gifts of stock will be sold by The Field School as soon as possible and allow donors to receive both the charitable deduction and tax savings from capital gains. For year-end stock gifts, please initiate the process by mid-December to ensure your tax deduction for a gift made that particular calendar year. 

IRA Required Minimum Distributions

For individuals 70½ or older, the federal government allows the annual required minimum distribution (or any amount up to $100,000) from an IRA to be a tax-free qualified charitable distribution. Donors may instruct their IRA plan administrator to give part or all of their distribution directly to The Field School.

In-Kind Gifts

Non-cash gifts maybe be contributed to serve the mission of the school, including goods (e.g., building materials, books, artwork, technology) or services (e.g., advertising, printing, consulting). Please contact the Office of Advancement at partnerships@thefieldschool.org for approval before donating.

Matching Gifts

Non-cash gifts maybe be matched by employers. Search your employer below to see if your contribution is eligible for a match.
